What is semi-precious stone? A semi-precious stone is any gemstone that is not a diamond, ruby, sapphire or esmerald. They are in general not abundant and have been formed over thousands or millions or years with the local climatic conditions contributing to the colour shades produced within the stones. For example, stromatolite is the oldest fossil in the world, about 3.5 billion years old.
Are your products unique? Yes absolutely. Stone is a natural product and so no two pieces will ever be the same. Some stone has more marked variations that others; for example, the same type of marble will have different veining, colour and shading from one batch to the other.
